  • Ridge Gourd (Turai): 1.5 medium size
  • Patra (farsan): 75 g
  • Oil: 1 1/2 tbsp
  • Jeera (whole cumin): 1/2 tbsp
  • Asafoetida (hing): 1/2 tbsp
  • Salt: to taste
  • Sugar: to taste
  • Cumin–coriander powder: 1/2 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder: 3/4 tbsp
  • Green chilli: 1 nos
  • Ginger: 1/4 inch
  • Garlic: 1.5 buds (cloves)
  • Fresh coriander: as required

  • Patra (farsan): 300 g
  • Oil: 6 tbsp
  • Jeera (whole cumin): 2 tbsp
  • Asafoetida (hing): 2 tbsp
  • Salt: to taste
  • Sugar: to taste
  • Cumin–coriander powder: 2 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder: 3 tbsp
  • Green chilli: 4 nos
  • Ginger: 1 inch
  • Garlic: 6 buds (cloves)
  • Fresh coriander: as required

Directions

cut patra

take oil on pan, add cumin(jeera), add asafoetida(hing)

Add chopped turai (ridge gourd) and sauté for 2 minutes.

cover with dish for cook
step 5
after 7 minutes add green chilli, ginger, garlic(you can skip) paste add mix well, add turmeric powder,cumin coriander powder
step 6
add water as per required for soak patra, when water is hot add chopped patra
step 7
after set within 15 minutes , our turiya patra sabji is ready serve with hot chapatis
