  • Cumin: 1/4 tbsp
  • Asafoetida: 1/2 pinch
  • Onion: 1–2
  • Tomatoes: 2
  • Capsicum: 1
  • Garlic: 3–4 buds
  • Potato: 2–3
  • Salt: to taste
  • Water: as per need
  • Garam masala: 1/4 tbsp
  • Red chilli powder: 1/4 tbsp
  • Cumin coriander powder: 1/4 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder: 1/4 tbsp
  • Maisur masala: 1/2 tbsp
  • Fresh coriander: as required

Directions

step 1
take oil, add cumin, asafoetids, chopped onion, saute untill light golden brown shade
step 2
add garlic paste and saute, than add chopped capsicum and saute
step 3
add chopped tomatoes, add grated beetroot
step 4
mix well and add, salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, mix well
step 5
add mashed potato, add some water
step 6
mash with this tool
step 7
add maisur masala, and fresh coriander
step 8
serve with dosa and coconut chutney
